Suryakumar Yadav in IPL

One of T20 cricket’s most creative and explosive hitters, Suryakumar Yadav, or SKY, is compared to AB de Villiers due to his 360-degree hitting range and In 2012 and 2013, SKY was a member of the MI team, but he played only one game , in which he was dismissed for a duck

SKY was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2014  but they failed to develop him to his full potential  and in his four years with the team  he never scored more than 200 runs in an IPL season.

In the 2018 IPL auction  MI bought SKY once more and  He had a fantastic season  scoring 512 runs at a strike rate of 133.33.

SKY has since made a name for himself as a formidable threat at number three and  His best IPL season was in 2023  when he amassed 605 runs at a strike rate of 181.14  and He won two titles with MI in 2019 and 2020.
